The city of Longmont is located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains , also known as the Front Range . Longmont is only 20 minutes northeast of Boulder , 45 minutes north of Denver , and 30 minutes south of Ft. Collins . Residents enjoy the many "big city" amenities Longmont has to offer, yet it still provides a great small town feel. Because Longmont is located close to the mountains and downtown Denver , residents can experience a drive in Rocky Mountain National Park in the morning, and shop at the downtown Denver Pavillions in the afternoon.
Because there is a strong sense of family and community in Longmont , there is always a great turnout for the numerous community events planned for the residents. From the "Taste of Longmont" to the annual Holiday Parade, you will find that both the young the young at heart will make it a point to support the local events planned.
Because Steve has been a resident since 1982, he can answer almost any question you may have about the neighborhoods, schools, or companies in Longmont . You can also browse the links below to get a feel for the town and all it has to offer.
