Staging
your home for sale is similar to preparing for a party. and
your most important guest will be each potential buyer that
comes through the door. The more effort you put into
getting
your house ready to put on the market, the better it will
show. Steve has put together some suggestions for you to reference
when going through your home to make sure you present your
home in the best possible light. Steve will also provide you

Staging
Inside Home:
- Clear
all countertops of clutter and all unnecessary debris.
- Thoroughly
dust throughout your house, and wipe down walls, fixtures
& doors.
- Touch-up
any paint that has cracked or peeled.
- Wipe
down baseboards and touch up paint as needed.
- Dust
and clean all lighting fixtures.
- Try
to remove as much clutter as possible, to give your home
a nice, spacious feel.
- Wipe
down doors.
- Clean
windows and window sills.
- Clean
and polish floors and remove spots from carpet.
- Clean
out and organize closets.
- Clean
and polish all bathroom appliances, and remove any mildew
from the shower/tub.
- Be
aware of potential odor issues in your home. There are many
odor elimination products on the market that can assist
with freshening the air in your home prior to buyers coming
through.
Enhancing
Curb Appeal, as appropriate with each season:
- Regularly
water lawn and mow frequently.Trim
shrubs and bushes.
- Pull
all weeds.
- Clean
off all spider webs off of house.
- Wash
outside windows.
- Sweep
and spray down entry path.
- Remove
clutter and put all tools in garage or shed.
