Steve's Bio

Steve, born in Twin Falls, Idaho, is proud to say that he has made Longmont, Colorado his home since 1982. Steve is no stranger to hard work; he was raised on a farm and worked on the family farm from a young age through high school. Steve worked at a local dairy in junior high where the working day began at 4:30 am. Steve’s passion for sales and performance began to take hold in his teens, when he played and managed in his own highly successful high school rock band. Steve cultivated his organizational and negotiation skills by effectively booking his band virtually every weekend throughout his high school career. After graduating from high school, Steve turned down a number of theatrical scholarships available to him to pursue his interest in music, which brought him to Colorado over 20 years ago.

Steve is the father of three and is married to Dianna Arrington, who was born and raised on a farm in eastern Colorado. Dianna has been instrumental to Steve’s success in real estate and has worked with him in the business since 1990. Dianna has a marketing degree, and has been responsible for the creative aspects of the business.

Steve has been a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame since 1992, earned the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement award in 1996, has been recognized in the RE/MAX top twenty agents for a five-state region six times, and is a perennial Top 100 member.

Steve's Hobbies

When Steve isn’t engrossed in his real estate business, he focuses on his other passions, which include golf, playing the guitar, and reading works of non-fiction. Steve is also the captain and manager of the RE/MAX softball team. Steve is an avid animal lover, as evidenced by not one, but three lovely Maltese dogs!
